Balkan Music USA Webring Celebrating the traditional music of South-Eastern Europe in modern America.

The Balkan Music USA Webring is devoted to bringing the traditional music of South-Eastern Europe to the USA. This includes regional music from Romania, Serbia, Macedonia, etc., and pan-regional traditions such as Romani (Gypsy) music and Jewish folk music (e.g, klezmer).

Band sites, fan sites, educational sites, and other sites that love this music are invited to join.

Attention Webmasters: Joining the ring will bring new traffic to your site. It will make it easier for your visitor's to navigate. It will help to promote Balkan music in all its variations in the USA. And it's easy!

Connecting your Site to the Web Ring

To connect your site to the Balkan Music USA Webring, use these simple steps:

1. Follow this link and fill out the form with details about your site. You will be asked for:
   • Choose a site ID (a short name used internally in linking the webring)
   • Choose a password (used by you to access your site information, should you need to change something).
   • The URL of your site (http://...)
   • A short (250 word) description.
   • Your name and e-mail address.
2. The Ringmaster will send you an e-mail when your site is activated. It should be within a day or two. In the unlikely event that your site is not appropriate for this web ring, you will receive a e-mail to that effect.
3. When you get the activation e-mail, add the navigation box to the main page of your site. You will need to replace the value after "siteid=" in the examples above (i.e., "fishtank") with the site ID you selected for your site.

Commonsense Ring Rules

1. To qualify for inclusion in the webring, your site must be predominately about Balkan music or some related musical genre--either about playing, publishing, or enjoying that music in the USA. Therefore, it must have at least a page or two in the English language.
2. This ring is about music. Sites promoting racial, religious or sexual hatred, adult content, gambling or illegal activities need not apply, and existing sites will be removed from the ring.
